A survivor of Type 1 diabetes for 48 years, as well as heart bypass surgery, kidney cancer, and multiple serious illnesses including pneumonia, tuberculosis, and hepatitis, Gary continues to inspire millions through his testimony of faith and perseverance. Together with his wife Angeli and the Shining Light Foundation, he remains deeply committed to philanthropy, uplifting communities through scholarship, feeding, medical, and livelihood programs.
